It was wonderful to quickly touch base with many of you at open house! I know the night was busy, so please feel free to email me with any additional questions or concerns you have that we were unable to talk about. Thank you for all of the donations!! These items will be essential this year! This week we will be learning the routines and procedures of third grade as well as doing some team building. Below are some things to keep in mind as we get the year rolling. * Please be sure to sign your child's agenda each night. I know that the agenda is often the same, but this is also a place where I may leave you a note. I will be checking the agenda every morning as well, so this is a great place for you to jot any quick communication for me. * By next week, students will have their "good fit" book picked out. This book is to travel back and forth to class every day. We work extra hard in third grade on starting and finishing a book before beginning a new one! * If transportation for your child changes, please be sure to let me know. If it is a bus change that is made (as in, what bus number your child will be taking), you will also need to contact transportation. * Our classroom will be nut free (nut free snacks and birthday treats). PB&J in lunches or nuts at lunch are ok! Have a wonderful week! I am looking forward to seeing many smiling faces on Tuesday morning! Here is the video we will be watching to kick off our first day!
